What does a Webcare & Community Manager do?

As an International Webcare & Community Manager you, together with a team of dedicated international colleagues, will be the online face of different organizations and work to increase online engagement and ensure happy customers for your clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing their community.This involves a range of tasks and responsibilities such as:

  • Responding to questions, complaints and compliments on behalf of brands on their social channels.
  • Actively encouraging engagement through appropriate interactions that channel the tone of voice, showcase creativity, humour and, of course, flawless spelling and grammar.
  • Monitoring and reporting on interactions as well as providing strategic insights.
  • Navigating possible damaging engagement and crisis control. Preventing the escalation of online negativity surrounding the brand.
  • Performing native quality checks.
  • Converting customers into loyal fans of the brand.

Job Requirements:

  • Spoken and written fluency in French and English
  • Social media is in your DNA: you know the in-and-outs of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, familiar with Pinterest and YouTube)
  • Flexibility in your schedule, available to work evenings and weekends.
  • Currently living in the Netherlands
  • Vocational/university level education
  • Bonus: Education in the direction of: Communication, Communication Science, Media/journalism, Communication & Multimedia Design, Marketing or something similar.
